Bench trial or jury
Kim, a normally "careful driver" got stopped for rolling through a stop sign and was given a ticket by the state patrolman. When she went to court she was asked if he wanted a bench trial or a jury trial. "Jury trial," she replied. "Do you understand the difference?" asked the judge. "Sure," replied Kim,"That's where twelve ignorant people decide my fate instead of one."
